Porch Light

Made for the porch after dinner. When plates are still out, the air turns cold, and nobody's ready to go inside yet.

Heavy beeswax poured into a tall, dripping form that burns slow and uneven like old candlelight against wood and fields.

Not polished.

Not formal.

Just flame, shadow, and the sound of crickets somewhere past the railing.
